Aimed at the paramedic and rapid response market, the team at Volkswagen Group emergency services worked with two industry conversion specialists to design the new demonstrator.
Hall’s electrical carried out the conversion work, installing bespoke storage solutions along with the latest generation of Led lighting and a custom livery kit, while Ring Carnation created a power management system tailored to the car’s specific requirements.
Richard Yates, from Ring Carnation, part of Ring Automotive, project managed the integration of the Seat’s bespoke new ‘genisys’ control system.
He said: “We’ve been proud to provide control systems for hundreds of emergency vehicles built around Volkswagen Group cars in the past, but this was an exciting opportunity to work directly with VWG on a Seat demo project using a brand new model.
