The new genisys II ECU uses RJ45 connectivity and is fully compatible with the standard genisys ECU. It can be installed in place of the standard ECU offering the opportunity to take advantage of the performance upgrade.
In addition to the standard genisys ECU feature, the GII ECU offers:
Advanced system hardware: 32-bit 300Mhz Atmel Cortex –M7 processor with 2MB of onboard memory. This provides 4 times as much memory buffer 1 and 8 times as much memory buffer as the standard ECU
Enhanced I/O: Supports 16 digital inputs and 4 analogue inputs and the external CAN input gives greater monitoring and control capability
Increased operating efficiency: features modern circuitry with 2 channel Class D high efficiency audio amplifier
Rugged polymer enclosure: durable PC-ABS housing with anti-microbial additive and features easy to update I/O assignment inserts
Front mounted LCD & controls: 2 line dot matrix display provides immediate access to programme version number and system health. Front mounted menu keys for Voice Alert volume, LCD contrast and diagnostics
USB programming port: Auto configuration file upload via USB drive or USB to PC offers the ultimate ease of update
