RING CARNATION COMPLETESTHE YORKSHIRE THREE PEAKS

The team from Ring Carnation recently joined colleagues from the wider Ring Automotive group and took on the formidable Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. Not only did they conquer the peaks, but they also helped raised an astonishing £3,758.00, with an additional £683.25 in Gift Aid, for Cancer Research UK as part of the Business Beats Cancer group. The collective effort of the group resulted in an incredible total of £30,798.58, with an additional £6,424.95 in Gift Aid, making this a remarkable achievement for a cause close to their hearts.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is no small feat. It involves scaling three of Yorkshire's highest peaks - Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough - all within a gruelling 12-hour time limit. Participants must trek a total distance of 24 miles, gaining over 5,000 feet in elevation along the way. It's a test of physical endurance, mental fortitude, and teamwork.

But the team from Ring didn't just meet this challenge; they embraced it wholeheartedly. They faced the rugged terrain and unpredictable weather conditions with unwavering determination. And when injuries and setbacks threatened to derail their progress, they leaned on each other for support.

Ring's "one team mentality" was evident throughout the journey. Lifting each other up when the going got tough and proving that together, they could overcome any obstacle. It was a testament to their commitment to the cause and their belief in the importance of supporting Cancer Research UK's vital work. The funds raised by Ring and the Business Beats Cancer group will go a long way in advancing cancer research, supporting patients, and ultimately, bringing us one step closer to a world where cancer is no longer a life-threatening disease. The impact of their efforts will resonate far beyond the peaks of Yorkshire.

In conclusion, Ring's triumphant completion of the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge and their impressive fundraising achievement for Cancer Research UK is a shining example of what can be accomplished when a dedicated team comes together with a shared purpose.
